My name is Beth Wade. I specialize in newborn and maternity photography around Charlotte, NC.
My style is custom photography that mixes fine art with warm portraiture. My goal is to deliver unique images that are artistic, natural and dreamy.
As an artist and photographer I strive to create unique, custom images of your belly, baby or family.
My style is very natural. Before I was a photographer I was a painter, an illustrator – an artist. As an artist I would never recreate the same painting twice. I always try to give clients a mix of traditional portraits (i.e. looking at the camera), intimate detail shots of hands or feet, and warm, candid views that capture a special moment in time.
I view and consider every photograph like a work of art. Your session with me is custom-styled to your tastes and comfort. We will meet at my private indoor/outdoor studio in my home on Lake Wylie. You have many different backdrops and locations available for us to use. Typically we begin in my studio and then go outdoors to the gardens, beach, fields or the lake. All of the lake images are taken outside my home on our dock. I provide gowns, fabric and other wardrobe options plus everything you will need should you decide to go in the water. Your safety and satisfaction are my top priority.
Each image in your gallery is hand-edited creatively to the finest detail. Many of my images are composites where I take multiple images and merge them together into one. I select only the very best photos from your shoot and create 20-25 custom portraits to include in your final gallery.
My clients are looking for something exceptional and unique. The one word used most by my clients to describe me is “patient“. I have been trained for newborn photography posing and proper technique to ensure your baby is safe during our session. I also have three children of my own and feel completely at ease holding and calming your baby. I love what I do!! and I really do have the BEST clients. My goal is to make sure your photos are a beautiful, unique reflection of your family or child. When they see their photos, the feedback I hear most is that they keep looking at them over and over again! <3
