When I first started photographing my family it was hard, REALLY hard. Kids (especially toddler boys) move around a lot. No, constantly! I estimate that about 90% of my photos were of my oldest son’s ear (or the back of his head). It’s definitely still not “easy” but after taking 2,846,092,176 photos you start to learn how to angle your shots.

It’s always said that the 2nd child never gets the same kind of photo attention as the first – I have definitely proven this theory to be WRONG A few days ago I posted Will’s Best of 2012 and had no problem finding enough images to do the same for my youngest son Charlie. Most of these were taken in our home or somewhere close to Lake Wylie (outside Charlotte, NC).
